The rules for using Greets — written as plainly as we can.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Greets mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by 2p Technologies Ltd (company number), registered at address ("Greets", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Greets is a group-based social discovery platform. Our tagline is "Meet new people. Together." The Service allows you to create or join friend groups, discover other groups, vote on connections, match with groups you like, and chat together. Greets is designed for social connection — it is not a dating service and we do not guarantee that you will meet anyone through the Service.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use Greets.
If you are between 16 and 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your country), you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Service, and that your parent or guardian has read and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You must provide accurate information when registering, including your date of birth. Misrepresenting your age — particularly to appear older or younger than you are — is prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.
We may restrict access to certain features based on age or location where required by law.
Registration. To use Greets, you must register with a valid phone number, choose a username, and create a password. You may optionally add a contact email address for notifications.
Account security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately at Support Email if you believe your account has been compromised.
One account per person. You may only maintain one personal account. Creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions or harass others is prohibited.
Username. Your username must not impersonate another person, contain offensive language, or infringe any third party’s rights. We may require you to change your username at our discretion.
What you share. You may upload photos, write a bio, send messages, share voice notes, share locations, and create group content through the Service ("User Content").
Your ownership. You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting User Content on Greets, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely as necessary to operate and improve the Service. This licence ends when you delete your User Content or account, except where content has been shared with others (e.g. messages sent in a group chat) or where we are required to retain it by law.
Responsibility. You are solely responsible for your User Content and for the content shared by groups you belong to. We do not endorse any User Content.
You agree not to use the Service to:
We may investigate violations and take action including content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban. We may also report illegal activity to law enforcement.
Groups. You may create or join friend groups on Greets. Group creators and members share responsibility for group behaviour and content. You may leave a group at any time. Parent group members may remove other parent members.
Voting and matching. When your group likes another group, members may vote on whether to proceed. Matches are formed when both groups agree. We do not guarantee any number of matches or interactions.
Group chats. Match chats and internal group chats may contain messages, photos, voice notes, location shares, polls, and events. Messages you send in a group chat are visible to all members of that chat. Be thoughtful about what you share.
Muting. You may mute chat notifications for any group chat at any time.
Greets provides in-app tools to help keep the community safe:
Report — you can report a user profile, photo, or group directly from within the app if you believe they violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
Block — you can block a user to prevent them from contacting you or appearing in your discovery feed.
Reports are reviewed by our team. We may take action including warnings, content removal, or account termination. To report urgent safety concerns, contact us at Support Email.
The Greets name, logo, app design, and all content we create are owned by 2p Technologies Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our Service or branding without our written permission.
Greets is currently free to use. We do not currently offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will update these Terms and notify you before any charges apply.
By you. You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account, contact us at Support Email or use the account deletion option in Settings.
By us. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or if we reasonably believe your account poses a risk to other users or the Service. We will notify you where possible.
Effect of termination. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including content licences for already-shared material, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee that you will meet other users, form connections, or have any particular experience on Greets.
You use the Service and interact with other users at your own risk. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, 2p Technologies Ltd and its directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) £100 or (b) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (currently £0 as the Service is free).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by English law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
